Amazing how much you can play with recorders! During the new and epic show by the recorder quartet Bravade, the heavy brothers Tero and Erno host their own television show with the experts in classical music, the recorder masters KlaSarit, as guests.
The hurdles between different genres fall as hits from the world of classical music and classics from pop music are combined. From the pool of 50 hits you will find everything from Tchaikovsky’s Dance of the Little Swans to Led Zeppelin’s Stairway to Heaven and Paranoid, without forgetting Moldau by Smetana, Mozart’s sweetest tunes and Toto’s Africa. And get ready for AC/DC’s magnificent guitar solo from Thunderstruck played on, of course, recorders!
Tero and Erno are also committed Christmas people, meaning that the show won’t lack some seasonal twists either.
FiBO Club is the follower of Klasariklubi which brings musicians from the Finnish Baroque Orchestra (FiBO) to the G Livelab stage. This time, the guests are musicians who besides performing with FiBO and other line-ups also often perform as the group Bravade.
The manuscript is written by Elina Lajunen who also is the director of the show. The music is arranged by Hanna Kangasniemi.
Duration: 45 min (no intermission)
