FiBO Players:

This summer, the Finnish Baroque Orchestra (FiBO) tours festivals with its Alla guerra d’amor programme. The patio concert at the Musiikkitalo offers audiences in Helsinki a preview of the programme, performed by a smaller ensemble.
The award-winning Danish bass-baritone Jakob Bloch Jespersen, Finnish lute pioneer Eero Palviainen, and FiBO’s artistic planner, violinist Irma Niskanen guide the audience into a charged landscape of love and battle, where instrumental virtuosity and vocal drama intertwine.
The concert is part of the Boreallas series, a set of pre-events and accompanying programmes for the international Aria Borealis Baroque singing competition held in October, offering a wide range of free experiences.
In case of rain, the concert will take place indoors in the main foyer of the Musiikkitalo.
Duration: 50 min (incl. intermission)
