Saksalainen nokkahuiluvirtuoosi Daniel Koschitzki on yksi nuoremman nokkahuilusukupolven tunnetuimmista soittajista. Arvostetun Moeck-kilpailun voitto vuonna 2001 sekä jäsenyys maailmankuulussa Amsterdam Loeki Stardust nokkahuilukvartetissa antoivat Koschitzkin uralle hyvän nosteen, ja hän on esiintynyt ympäri maailmaa soolokonsertein ja osana kamarimusiikkikokoonpanoja. Koschitzki on ennakkoluuloton taiteilija ja opettaja, joka tuoreilla tulkinnoillaan tuo esille nokkahuilua nykypäivän taideinstrumenttina. Helsingin konsertissa Koschitzki soittaa barokin ajan soolohuiluohjelmistoa niin Saksasta kuin Ranskastakin, ja vie kuulijansa kauniisiin äänimaisemiin nokkahuilujensa avulla.

Per flauto solo
Virtuoso Recorder Music from the Late Baroque to the Early Classical Period
Johann Sebastian Bach’s Partita in A minor and the Sonata in A minor written by his son Carl Philipp Emanuel Bach are considered the two most important works for solo flute of the 18th century. Bach senior and junior have created two masterpieces of highest perfection which still challenge flute and recorder players today as much as they did almost 300 years ago. German recorder player Daniel Koschitzki unites these two Sonatas in his solo recital program. The traditional, polyphonic and figurative style of Johann Sebastian Bach melts together with the sensitive, almost romantic gestures of the young Bach. Last but not least, Koschitzki is taking a musical glimpse at the natural and very pure sounds of the Early Classical period. Therefore, he is combining the two Bach Sonatas with works by Jacques Martin Hotteterre, Georg Philipp Telemann und Johann Georg Tromlitz, thus creating a shimmering portrait of an era which was marked by upheaval and revolutions.
“Per flauto solo” guarantees the listener an hour of enjoyment and the great possibility to dive into the beautiful, yet quite earthy sound scapes created by the recorder.
