Forum: Networks and Regional Co-operation in a Globalised Classical Music Field
Music Finland, in co-operation with Helsinki Early Music Festival, is hosting a forum about the internationalisation of musicians and composers.
On Tuesday 10 th October from 5 pm to 6.30 pm, Music Finland hosts a forum discussing the importance of networks in the Nordic countries and other adjacent regions for the internationalisation of musicians and composers.
What kind of networks do the classical music actors have in the Nordic countries? What kind of performance opportunities and financial support channels are made possible by regional co- operation? Music Finland hosts the event in co-operation with Helsinki Early Music Festival in Angelicum Hall (Ritarikatu 3, 00170 Helsinki).
Discussing the topic: Martti Anttila (Executive director, Helsinki Chamber Choir), Geir Lindahl (Senior Advisor, Nordic Culture Point), Hans-Georg Kaiser (intendant, Freiburg Baroque Orchestra) and Ina Holthaus (General Secretary, Nordic Baroque Scene). The conversation will be modereted by Lasse Lehtonen (FT). Conversation is in English.
The event is intended primarily for professionals in the field of classical music, but everyone is welcome to follow the conversation.
